Our Mission Here at Savannah Way we believe our purpose and mission here in Katherine is outlined in the Scriptures “ Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel” Mark 16:15 We have a message to proclaim of God’s goodness and salvation to everyone. We endeavour to do this by encouraging the people who come through our doors to have a heart for God, to study His Word, to glorify Him through worship so that they too can make a difference in the community by impacting others for Christ, through their own personal walk with God. If you are passing through Katherine or live in Katherine, we would love to see you here at Savannah Way Baptist Church. Everyone is welcome.
What To Expect
Savannah Way is a church committed to preaching and teaching the Bible in every service. Our services consist of a worship service with God honouring music followed by preaching from the Holy Bible.
Children: Children are most welcome, we understand they may not be the quietest but please don’t let that stop you!
How should I dress?
There is no dress code for attending our church. We as a church believe that coming together to worship the Lord is an important event and we dress accordingly. We want you to be comfortable and feel welcome so please, just come.
Do I have to give money?
No. We are not after your money. Part of the worship service does involve a money collection, but this is for those who wish to give of their own choice. God loves a cheerful giver not a begrudging one!
